Privacy Policy
Effective August 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Childress Financial Consultants LLC ("we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website. It describes only this website. Information you share with us directly by phone, text, email, or in a client meeting is handled under our client and insurance-carrier processes, not by this website.
Pending administrator review
Administrator review required before production: confirm the legal entity name, business mailing address, the privacy contact, the analytics/advertising tools actually installed, and the retention periods below. This document has been drafted to describe the website as built and is not legal advice; it should be reviewed by qualified counsel.
1. Information this website collects
This website has no accounts, no login, no contact form, no file uploads, and no payment processing. We do not ask you to submit personal information through this page. The information involved is:
- Information you choose to send us directly: if you tap a call, text, or email link, your phone number or email address and the content of your message reach us through your own phone or mail app, and through your carrier or email provider.
- Device and browser information: standard technical data your browser sends to our hosting provider with every request, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and time of request. This is used to serve the page and for security and reliability.
- Local storage on your device: a small value that remembers which version of the homepage you were shown, plus counts of call/text link clicks, so we can compare page versions. This stays in your browser.
- Analytics and advertising cookies, only with your consent: if enabled, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Google Tag Manager may set cookies and receive events such as a page view or a click on a call or text button, together with the page version and traffic source.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, account numbers, health information, or financial account details through this website. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial details by text or email; we will collect what is needed through secure client onboarding.
2. How we use information
- To respond to calls, texts, and emails you initiate and to schedule a consultation.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To measure advertising and page performance in aggregate, where you have consented.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to a licensed insurance agent.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the advertising cookies described above, which run only with your consent and which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
- Strictly necessary: local storage that remembers which homepage version you saw. Without it the page would change on every visit. No consent is required for this category.
- Analytics: Google Analytics measures page views and clicks on call/text links. Loaded only after you accept.
- Advertising / marketing: Google Ads conversion measurement, used to see which advertisement led to a call. Loaded only after you accept.
- Functional: none currently used.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer. Rejecting does not affect your ability to call, text, or email us.
4. Third parties that may receive information
- Website hosting and content delivery — serves this page and processes standard request logs.
- Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager) — analytics and advertising measurement, only with your consent.
- Google Maps / Google Business Profile — if you click through to our reviews, Google's own privacy policy applies to that visit.
- Your mobile carrier and email provider — when you call, text, or email us using the links on this page.
- Professional service providers such as insurance carriers, custodians, compliance, and legal or accounting advisors, where relevant to a client relationship you begin with us.
These parties process information for the purposes described above and are not authorized to use it for their own unrelated purposes, except that Google processes analytics and advertising data under its own terms.
5. Storage, security, and retention
The website is served over HTTPS. Because the site stores no submitted data, there is no website database of visitor records. Hosting request logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and reliability. Analytics data is retained by Google under the retention period configured in the analytics property. Local storage on your device stays until you clear your browser data. Calls, texts, and emails you send us are retained as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy recordkeeping obligations that apply to licensed insurance and financial professionals.
Pending administrator review
Administrator input needed: the exact hosting log retention period, the Google Analytics data retention setting, and the records-retention period required by the applicable carrier and California Department of Insurance rules.
6. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of your information, a portable copy, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell), to withdraw consent to cookies, and to appeal a decision on your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, call (951) 447-8057 or email kchildress@cigbh.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Requests and their outcomes are logged internally; that log is not public.
7. Artificial intelligence
This website has no chatbot and no AI feature. Nothing you do on this page is sent to an AI provider. If an AI-assisted feature is added later, this policy will be updated to describe what is processed, by whom, whether it is retained, and whether it may be used for model training.
8. Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International visitors
We serve clients in Southern California and the website is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, information involved in serving the page is processed in the United States.
10. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change and will revise the effective date above. For any privacy question, contact Childress Financial Consultants LLC at (951) 447-8057 or kchildress@cigbh.com. Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm PT.
